Have you ever felt like you had a calling, something you must do in life? It could be a specific career, volunteering for a cause like helping animals or the environment, raising a child, writing a book on a subject about which you're passionate, or serving humanity in other ways.

She said, "My waking self on Earth had no conscious memory of this agreement, but my Guide gently reminded me of it. She made it clear that now was the time where I'd be fulfilling my part of the contract. But since it was voluntary, I could also decide not to follow this calling. A very palpable sense of the weight of responsibility overwhelmed me. I almost physically felt a weight settle on my shoulders and I questioned whether I was up to the task. But it seems I had no choice in my own soul. I wanted to do this at a very deep level, and felt compelled in some way to take on this task."
I can relate to her words. I feel like some of the metaphysical work I've done, and will do, are things I must accomplish, and cannot completely relax until they're completed.
According to many other people who have experienced a NDE, every human has a role to play, all of us are connected, and even seemingly minor roles can have a domino effect and influence masses of people.
This is why it's important to follow your heart and your calling, even if it seems like too much effort for too little return, or makes you an unpopular person. You will be rewarded for your effort, even if it doesn't seem like it now, and sometimes that won't be until after this life on the other side or in future lives.
