How To Rekindle Love in Your Life
A Meditation For Love

Everyone wants to love and give love but when one tries to love, it often falls short. I remember one time the question was asked to my meditation master, "Why does familiarity breed contempt?" It is often said that with the ones we love the most, such as your husband, wife, parents or children, you have less patience and you are not able to accept their habits and ways as you might with someone you've met or even with a more casual friend.
The question continued with, "Why is it that when my wife slurps her coffee it bothers me and when others slurp their coffee it does not?"
The answer was that it is because of lack of intense love. He then gave himself as an example–his students love him so intensely that they always want to be around him and are never bothered by his habits.
Then the question arises—what is intense love? And if you have it, how is it different from romantic or human love, which is changing? If you love the unchanging, the Knower, the Pure Being or Space, that you unfold in meditation, then you will know true love which alone is the ocean of love that is everywhere. Then you can know this intense love!
You are not focusing on the personality; rather you are aware of the Pure Being which is pure love. The master once gave me this great advice of how to remain in love and be together without conflict.
He said to always focus on the love that united you and not on the minds and ideas that are different and changing. Two minds will never always think alike and you cannot and should not expect them to.
When you say you love someone you mean that you know them as your own Self. Purity of love is the Self. Then the differences seem small in the light of that love.
There is never conflict, hatred or worry in love. Love is the purity itself and we are all made of that love.
It is said "The ocean of love is where we all want to swim. As soon as you plunge into the ocean of bliss you become the recognizer of love—that is your true nature."
Live the life of Love — and use this meditation daily: Begin to breath deeply with your eyes closed, ensuring to use equal counts of breaths. Allow the mind to bring in pictures of your loved ones in the perfect setting and see them in their perfection. Remember love is a very splendored thing!
Your health and stress level are extremely vital to each other. Your health should be the number one priority in your life. Release stress and get on with your path to live a healthy life!
