Do You Believe Your Soul Mate is Out There?
By Lola O'Hare
It is very hard to let year after year go by and not finding
that special person whom we know we are meant to spend the rest
of our lives with.
But here's the thing. That person is out there. All we
have to do is let them know we are ready, let the universe know
we are ready and then make ourselves ready to receive them into
our lives.
Most men and women will have an image in their mind of what
that person looks like, what they are like, and what they will
provide them with.
For some, what they are looking for is a mate who will love
and care for them. Others want financial stability. Other want
someone to start a family with. And for some that special person
will be able to see into their soul and recognize them from ages
past as the one and true love to spend the rest of their lives
with.
Now, this might sound like a fairy tale, but the truth is
anyone can find their soul-mate and these are 4 steps you have to
take to make it easier for your lives to cross at the right time
and place so that you may meet and fall in love.
1) Make room
If you have your own place, make room in your closet, your
drawers, your sofa and your kitchen for the new person to move
their things in. Also remove all photos and other keepsakes from
previous relationships. This will tell the universe you are ready
to move on.
2) Make a list
Write down that mental image you have of your soul-mate. Go to
very specific details and be very honest about it. If you want a
hot 20 something, put it in. Cut out pictures from magazines that
represent the person you want and please go beyond just sexual
attraction. Although sexual attraction is important, it is the
least important part of your relationship when it comes to a long
term commitment.
3) Release the list
After your list is ready, burn it and let go of the need to
have all that in a mate. This might seem like a strange thing to
do, but you must release all preconceptions on what you want and
need. Let life bring you your soul-mate and be ready to recognize
him or her when he or she appears in your life.
4) Put yourself out there
You will make life a lot easier for yourself if you start
putting yourself out for possible relationships. Let all your
friends, co-workers and family know that you are in the market.
